Investigators said the counterfeit pills were sold to men who were buying online from websites believed to be selling counterfeit drugs.
According to a statement from the Australian police, the man was arrested on the same day on suspicion of selling counterfeit Viagra, and was released on a bond of $5,000.
The man said he bought fake Viagra on Craigslist from a website in 2020 and was arrested and charged with counterfeit goods, and possession of counterfeit goods, and dealing in counterfeit goods.
